With a local farmer offering land to meet a need for bungalows, affordable homes and allotments in a village in County Durham, we contacted the county council for guidance on their support for ‘Community Led Homes’. This is set to play a big role in delivering homes in the 2020’s, and to support needs identified by local communities.
Since then we’ve been contacted by some passionate, proud and determined community activists wanting our support to bring forward community led housing projects. The values of these people and their communities resonates with us and aligns with our core values. If your community needs housing then please contact us to see how we can help.
Our approach is centred upon the three P’s: People, Planet, Profit. We work with clients, communities and local authorities to deliver equitable outcomes.
People: in all that we do, we try to help people, as clients, stakeholders, staff, colleagues, associates and neighbours. We will always try to be equitable, fair, honest and transparent in the way we treat people.
Planet: we seek to protect and conserve the natural environment and finite resources of the planet. We will seek to reflect this in the way we advise our clients, design schemes and select our partners.
Profit: we believe our work leads to staff who are more fulfilled and experienced, more resilient communities, a conserved environment, and equitably shared financial rewards.
Our values-driven approach means that we always try to help community groups based on their needs. You can contact us for more information about the work that we do, as well as finding more information about affordable homes on our LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter pages.
